Directions from Brooksville:
Go to US41. Take US41 north to Citrus Springs. In Citrus Springs go to
Citrus Springs Blvd. Take Citrus Springs Blvd. east for approx. 2 blocks
to Athenia. Turn right and take Athenia straight ahead to the entrance
of El Diablo Golf & Country Club.
Directions from Florida Turnpike:
Take Florida's Turnpike to I-75. Take I-75 to SR 44 in Wildwood. Take
SR 44 west to US 41. Take US 41 north to Citrus Springs Blvd. in Citrus
Springs. Take Citrus Springs Blvd. east to Athenia (approx. 2 blocks).
Turn right onto Athenia and the golf course will be straight ahead.
Directions from Generic Directions:
The golf course is located in Citrus Springs between US 41 and I-75 (southwest
of Ocala).
From the I-75 / SR 44 (exit 329) intersection in Wildwood:
Take SR 44 west to US 41. Take US 41 north to Citrus Springs Blvd in Citrus
Springs. Take Citrus Springs Blvd. east to Athenia (approx. 2 blocks).
Turn right onto Athenia and the golf course will be straight ahead.
*** El Diablo's Rain Check Policy as of 09/01/02:
1. A rain check will be issued for 9 holes if you have
completed less than 9 holes.
2. No rain check will be issued if you have completed 9 or
more holes.
3. There will be no 18 hole rain checks issued. ***
Directions from Naples I-75:
Take I-75 to SR 44 in Wildwood. Take SR 44 west to US 41. Take US
41 north to Citrus Springs Blvd. in Citrus Springs. Take Citrus
Springs Blvd. east to Athenia (approx. 2 blocks). Turn right onto
Athenia and the golf course will be straight ahead.
Directions from New Port Richey:
Go to US19. Take US 19 north to Homossassa and Rt. 490. Go east
on Rt. 490 until it meets and becomes State Road 44 in the town
of Lecanto. In Lecanto, take County Road 491 north through Beverly
Hills. At a 4-way stop, you will find Rt. 41. Turn left onto 41
and go north for about 4 miles to Citrus Springs Blvd. Turn right
onto Citrus Springs Blvd and go 2 blocks to Athenia Drive. Turn
right onto Athenia and the golf course will be straight ahead about
100 yards on the right.
Directions from Ocala:
From Ocala go to SR 200 in Ocala. Take SR 200 south for approx.
18 miles (18 miles after you crossed I-75) over the Withlacoochee
River to CR 39. Turn right and take CR39 west (northwest bound)
for approx. 5 1/2 miles to Country Club Way. Turn left and take
Country Club Way to Athenia Rd. From Athenia follow the signs to
the golf course.
Directions from Palm Harbor:
Go to US19. Take US 19 north to Homossassa and Rt. 490. Go east
on Rt. 490 until it meets and becomes State Road 44 in the town
of Lecanto. In Lecanto, take County Road 491 north through Beverly
Hills. At a 4-way stop, you will find Rt. 41. Turn left onto 41
and go north for about 4 miles to Citrus Springs Blvd. Turn right
onto Citrus Springs Blvd and go 2 blocks to Athenia Drive. Turn
right onto Athenia and the golf course will be straight ahead about
100 yards on the right.
Directions from Tampa Airport:
Take I-275 south/west toward the Howard Frankland Bridge. Just before
the bridge, get onto SR 60 west--Courtney Campbell Causeway. Go
west a short way on SR 60 until meeting Rt. 589--Veterans Expressway
toll road. Take Rt. 589 north--it changes name to Suncoast Parkway--
until it deadends at US 98. Turn right/east on US 98 and go about
3.5 miles to Rt. 491. Turn left/north onto 491, going through the
town of Lecanto. Look for US 41 and then turn north on 41 to Citrus
Springs Blvd. in Citrus Springs. Take Citrus Springs Blvd. east
to Athenia (approx. 2 blocks). Turn right onto Athenia and the golf
course will be straight ahead.
